SUZANNE McCOWAN, CB

CERTIFIED QUICKBOOKS PRO ADVISOR 

Suzanne McCowan has an Accounting Diploma with Honours from Humber College in Toronto, ON as well as an Accounting Certificate with Honours from Humber College in Toronto, ON.  She is on the 4th level of the CGA program, although not currently enrolled.

In 2015, Suzanne completed her Certified Bookkeeper Designation.

Suzanne has 20 years experience in the accounting field in several different industries such as financial services, marketing, manufacturing and transportation, with 18 years of management experience. 



 

She has been a Controller in the Transportation and Logistics field for the past 15 years, running and growing companies alongside the President/Owner. Suzanne has exposure working on mergers the past 3 years of her career, so lots of experience reading financials to see what companies are about and their structures.

 

 

 

​Suzanne often had to perform due diligence analysis, present costing reports to Presidents and their Accounting Firms when trying to build new business relationships.

​

As the Controller she was the contact person for the bank, so has worked on covenant reporting and audits/reviews and Note to Reader for year end, in anticipation of large finance projects including selling portions of incorporated companies to Directors injecting cash into the parent company business.



Suzanne has worked on several accounting software packages in her career such as Quickbooks, Simply Accounting, ACCPAC, Great Plains, Newviews and many specialized accounting integrated packages.

In her spare time, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family as well as playing darts, reading, and boating.
